Activities List for Warner’s Pond 2011
Due to current budget restraints the Warner Pond Stewardship Committee is
looking for volunteers to cut the hay and remove (with roots) the small
Catalpa Trees and Purple Loosestrife growing on the new dam. If you know of
anyone that would care to perform any of these projects please have them
contact me .

- Clean Pond Street access point (May – June coord. w/ Lori/Delia)
- Remove brush and create a pathway to the pond
- Create a ‘landing’ area by clearing the brush by the pond
- HS volunteers
- Create larger open space at Commonwealth Access (May-June coord. w/ Lori/Delia)
- Remove brush and trees to open space for parking
- Put in benches?
- Purple loostrife pull (Date? coord. w/ Lori/Delia)
- Contact WP neighbors
- HS volunteers
- Water Chestnut pull (Date? coord. w/ Lori/Delia)
- Contact WP neighbors (those w/ canoes)
- Boy Scout island (coordinate with Boy Scouts)
- Find better access point to the island and remove brush from that area
- Brush-in or plant items at the current obvious and dangerous landing
